SPORTS NUTRITION ONLINE COURSE
A nutritional foundation for physical activity.
This course examines the evidence-based nutritional needs and use of fuels for various types of physical activity, from review of body composition, energy balance and roles of specific nutrients, to evaluation of nutritional claims and performance enhancing products. Students develop a knowledge of sports nutrition that can be applied to their own lives.
Web-based audio-visual content enhances students’ nutritional knowledge for a targeted understanding of sports nutrition as it relates to their own athletic goals.
This course is available on all desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. Students are able to learn at their own pace, while instructors can monitor progress with real-time tracking tools.
